MEC Summer Events Vendor Packet

Being part of MEC Summer Events is so much fun and has a huge impact on the communities who are served through these events.

If you are a maker or vendor and want to sell your wares at one, two, or all three of the events, download and complete the vendor application!

Remember, MEC sponsors all vendor fees for booths run by members of the LGBTQIA+ community at Pride, Black community at Juneteenth, and for anyone representing a marginalized community at Belonging.

We hope you'll join us!

WHO WE ARE

The Monroe Equity Community envisions a diverse and inclusive Monroe where everyone is honored, safe, and represented.

We embody a collaborative commitment to create space for everyone to be represented, seen, and heard without harm, all cultures to be honored, and all people to access opportunities according to their need.

The Monroe Equity Community approaches our mission together, working as agents of change, addressing systemic inequity, racism, and biases that exist in our schools, city, and community.

We will be intentional to incorporate a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences to improve decision making and leverage the positive impacts of Monroe's diversity.

ADVOCACY

As a collaborative, we use our privileges, our platforms, and our positions to support one another in the work of creating equity, inclusion, diversity, and belonging in our community. If you have experienced a situation that you need to talk through, have identified an equity issue that you would like to start working to change, or if you have witnessed racism, homophobia, transphobia, or other forms of marginalization of people by our city government, in schools, or out in the community but fear retaliation from co-workers or peers, please email us or fill out this form.

If you are in physical danger or an emergency situation, call 911.

We cannot provide legal counsel.
